Moonwell mUSDC market, replayed.

ALL CLEAR — zero anomalies

We ran Moonwell's mUSDC lending market on Base (0xEdc8…c22) through the ChainWatch detection engine over roughly 3,000 recent blocks. 55 events processed. Nothing anomalous — which is exactly the point: you want the tripwire quiet until it matters.

Why this matters

Moonwell's markets were exploited for roughly $8.7M about a month before this replay. Post-incident, the question every lending protocol asks is: would we see the next one coming? A replay can't answer that retroactively — but it validates that the detection rules are calibrated to the market's real behavior, so when something genuinely abnormal happens on the next 3,000 blocks, the alert fires instead of blending into the noise.

This is also what ChainWatch does live: the same engine, the same rules, running block-by-block with alerts to Slack, Discord, or PagerDuty in about 15 seconds.

Method note: replays run against public RPC data — read-only, no private information involved. Reports cover the replayed window only; they are not audits and not a clean bill of health for all time. They're a calibration check: the monitor knows what "normal" looks like for your contracts.
